I really dont understand this quote. What i think you mean like you read something bad when you already in a bad mood? So it makes you worse because you already mad about something so reading a bad book makes you feel worse. For example you mad about something @ work , home , friends , whatever. Then you decide to read a book then while you reading it it's just a bad book. Like your thinking to yourself wha the heck is this cramp? My mom she already mad about something me or @ work then all of sudden she reading her magazine & gets mad? Im thinking to my self what the heck are you mad about? LOL she read something that was bad. Thats what i think its means.
